Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Extend Easy Tone
PANAMA - Nov 15/21 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year continued their weaker trend, with confection sunflower imports for Germany shrank compared to the previous month in September, according to the most recent statistics from Eurostat.
Imports during the month reached 644 metric tons (MT), down from 7,570 MT the prior month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 128,173, down 33% last year.
China was the number one export origin for the month, selling 246 MT. Moldova was the second most important supplier shipping 176 MT, followed by Ukraine at 86 MT.
