Old And New Crop Mustard Historically High

PANAMA - Nov 12/21 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets continued to advance over the past week, with grower bids for both yellow and brown mustard pushing well past CDN $1 per pound.

More significantly new crop bids to Canadian growers are starting out at unprecedented levels, reflecting worries over the willingness of farmers to plant mustard seed in 2022.

By week's end new crop bids ranged up to CDN 66 cents per pound for farmers dressed No 1 Canada yellow mustard seed delivered processing plants, compared to 61 cents for brown and 56 for oriental.
