Canada's Green Lentil Exports Maintain Soft Tone
PANAMA - Nov 5/21 - SNS -- Canada's exports of green lentils during September fell versus the previous month, judging from data from Statistics Canada.
Total exports for the month amounted to 27,129 metric tons (MT), down 27% from the previous month's total of 37,090. So far exports have totalled 64,219 MT, down from 76,943 during the last marketing year.
The most recent trade statistics revealed Colombia was biggest destination, buying 4,452 MT. Algeria was the second most important consumer receiving 4,310 MT, followed by Italy at 2,806 MT.
