Mixed Week For Lentils
PANAMA - Oct 15/21 - SNS -- Lentil markets posted a mixed ending to the week, with those in the United States supported by a fundamental shortage of product, while Canadian values eased in the face of slower than initially expected disappearance.
Movement of product from farms so far this season is slower as a proportion of available stocks than was the case at this time last year.
Interestingly, bulk export loadings reported by the Canadian Grain Commission are not trailing last season by as much as grower deliveries.
