Sunflower Leads Birdseeds Upward
PANAMA - Oct 15/21 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were little changed in relatively light trading conditions during the past week.
Modest strength was noted in oil type sunflower, while white proso millet seed and confection sunflower finished the week unchanged in both grower and inter dealer markets.
Sunflower seed markets were influenced by the first USDA production estimate of the year and residual stock estimates for the 2021-22 marketing campaign.
