Field Pea Imports By Spain Post Better Performance
PANAMA - Oct 15/21 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain moved up somewhat compared to the previous month in August, the most recent data from Eurostat reports.
Imports for the month totalled 15,778 metric tons (MT), up from 625 MT the previous month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 58,130, down 41% last year.
Russia was the most important supplier, selling 7,845 MT. Ukraine was the second most important origin selling 6,200 MT, followed by France at 1,156 MT.
