Bulgaria's Confection Sunflower Exports Continue Weak Trend
PANAMA - Oct 15/21 - SNS -- Bulgaria's movement of confection sunflowers during August sank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Export sales for the month reached 9,901 metric tons (MT), down from 31,100 MT the prior month. This boosted movement so far during the calendar year to 216,763, down 24% last year.
Recent movement statistics showed China was number one importer, buying 4,925 MT for the month. United States was the second most important destination buying 2,012 MT, followed by Canada at 829 MT.
