Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Extend Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Oct 15/21 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers during August sank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total imports for the month amounted to 717 metric tons (MT), down 96% from the previous month's total of 19,288. So far imports have totalled 120,678 MT, down from 169,612 during the last calendar year.
China was the top exporter during the month, shipping 537 MT. Ukraine was the second most important exporter shipping 86 MT, followed by United States at 40 MT.
