Chickpea Fundamentals Remain Strong
PANAMA - Oct 9/21 - SNS -- Global chickpea markets were little changed during the past week, with markets continuing to worry about the status of North American crops.
Though Canada and the United States are not the most important origins in the world, the likelihood the region is fundamentally short of product will have a strong influence as the season advances.
Values in that market zone have rapidly advanced since spring and summer, reflecting poor yields in key growing areas in the northern United States as well as in western Canada.
