Sunflower Seed Exports From Kazakhstan Sustain Strong Tone
PANAMA - Sep 30/21 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year are maintaining a firmer tone, with sunflower seed movement for Kazakhstan recorded massive increases, soaring relative to the previous month in April, judging from statistics from The Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Exports during the month totalled 21,067 metric tons (MT), up from 10,365 MT the previous month. This increased export sales so far during the calendar year to 92,448, up 18% last year.
Recent movement data revealed Uzbekistan was top buyer, buying 11,134 MT for the month. China was the second most important importer buying 4,977 MT, followed by Russia at 2,736 MT.
