Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Continue Easy Tone
PANAMA - Sep 20/21 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers in July fell sharply compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports reached 1,869 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 88% from the 15,453 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 102,542 MT, compared to 149,655 during the last calendar year.
The number one supplier throughout the month was China, selling 1,439 MT. Turkey was the second most important exporter selling 247 MT, followed by Ukraine at 67 MT.
