VANCOUVER - Sep 9/21 - STAT -- United States Large Confection Sunflower markets finished the 2020-21 marketing year with prices offered to growers advancing 8% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Large Confection Sunflower was USD$29.63 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $27.40 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $36.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $24.50 per cwt in January.
