Mustard Unchanged But Firm

PANAMA - Aug 5/21 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets were unchanged on the week but maintained their firm tone as markets fear for the status of crops in the main growing areas.

Weather forecasts for the coming week suggest there is a chance of showers in southern Saskatchewan. Otherwise conditions remain hot and dry with some days of moderate cloud cover.

In its latest crop report, Saskatchewan Agriculture said none of the mustard crop was in swath and none was ready to straight combine, suggesting the harvest is likely another week away.
