Green Pea Exports From Canada Maintain Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Aug 5/21 - SNS -- Canada's movement of green peas in June sank versus the previous month, judging from data from Statistics Canada.
Export sales reached 15,213 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 71% from the 52,438 MT exported the previous month. Exports so far total 238,324 MT, versus 298,657 in the same period the last marketing year.
Nepal was the most important destination, buying 5,155 MT. China was the second most important importer buying 2,226 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 1,349 MT.
