Yellow Pea Exports From Canada Extend Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Aug 5/21 - SNS -- So far during this marketing year added to their weaker tone, with yellow pea movement from Canada sank relative to the previous month in June, according to official trade statistics from Statistics Canada.
Movement reached 96,021 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 64% from the 263,463 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 2,856,723 MT, versus 2,915,077 during the last marketing year.
The top destination during the month was Bangladesh, receiving 60,151 MT. China was the second most important consumer receiving 27,971 MT, followed by United States at 3,428 MT.
