Australia's Lentils Exports Continue Solid Tone
PANAMA - Aug 5/21 - SNS -- Australia's shipments of lentilss during June made significant gains, advancing versus the previous month, judging from data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Total export sales in the month amounted to 81,010 metric tons (MT), up 27% from the previous month's total of 63,684. So far exports have totalled 624,672 MT, up from 527,384 in the same period the last marketing year.
The top destination throughout the month was Bangladesh, buying 27,165 MT. Sri Lanka was the second most important buyer receiving 17,686 MT, followed by Egypt at 13,151 MT.
