Australia's Broadbean Exports Continue Solid Performance
PANAMA - Aug 5/21 - SNS -- Shipments of broadbeans from Australia recorded huge increases, jumping versus the previous month in June, the latest data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reports.
Movement reached 71,736 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 217% from the 22,606 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 480,597 MT, versus 279,552 in the same period the previous marketing year.
Egypt was the number one destination, receiving 56,232 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important destination receiving 5,180 MT, followed by India at 5,043 MT.
