Red Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/21 - STAT -- Canadian Red Lentil markets finished the 2020-21 marketing year with prices soaring 21% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Red Lentil was USD$28.50 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $23.55 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $33.19 per cwt in July, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $24.60 per cwt in August.
