Laird Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/21 - STAT -- Canadian Laird Lentil markets finished the 2020-21 marketing year with prices soaring 21% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Laird Lentil was USD$33.80 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $27.98 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $37.00 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $28.30 per cwt in August.
