Australia's Lentils Exports Record Slow Performance

PANAMA - Jun 3/21 - SNS -- Australia's export shipments of lentilss in April posted significant declines, slumping compared to the previous month, judging from data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Export sales reached 53,090 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 42% from the 92,227 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 485,847 MT, compared to 397,899 in the same period the last marketing year.

In the month, Bangladesh was the most important destination, buying 29,721 MT. Sri Lanka was the second most important destination buying 12,418 MT, followed by Pakistan at 7,884 MT.
