Australia's Chickpea Exports Post Soft Performance
PANAMA - Jun 3/21 - SNS -- Australia's exports of chickpeas during April dropped versus the previous month, judging from data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Export sales during the month totalled 66,156 metric tons (MT), down from 79,208 MT the prior month. This lifted export sales so far during the marketing year to 577,518, up 151% last year.
The latest trade data showed Pakistan was biggest buyer, buying 48,768 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important consumer buying 6,361 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 2,984 MT.
