Sunflower Seed Imports By Turkey Open On Soft Tone
PANAMA - Jun 2/21 - SNS -- Turkey's imports of sunflower seeds during March were little changed, slipping versus the previous month, judging from data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Imports during the month totalled 110,642 metric tons (MT), down from 111,451 MT the prior month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 324,332, down 28% last year.
The top export origin for the month was Romania, supplying 43,171 MT. Other was the second most important supplier shipping 40,701 MT, followed by Bulgaria at 16,580 MT.
