PANAMA - May 4/21 - SNS -- Australia's export shipments of lentilss in March dropped compared to the previous month, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Total exports during the month amounted to 97,840 metric tons (MT), down 15% from the previous month's total of 114,650. So far exports have amounted to 438,370 MT, up from 344,937 in the same period the previous marketing year.
Current movement statistics reported Bangladesh was biggest buyer, taking 50,228 MT in the month. Sri Lanka was the second most important destination buying 15,748 MT, followed by Egypt at 12,291 MT.
