WASHINGTON - May 3/21 - SNS -- Seeding of this year's field pea crops made relatively good progress in the United States during the past week, advancing from 23% to 37% complete, judging from state level reports.
More significantly, progress is currently ahead of both the recent average for the main producing states and progress reported at this time last year.
Planting is complete in Oregon, while it has reached 78% complete in Idaho and 69% in Washington state.
