Romania's Oil-type Sunflower Exports Open On Easy Note
PANAMA - Apr 20/21 - SNS -- Export shipments of oil-type sunflowers for Romania sank relative to the previous month in February, the latest data from Eurostat reports.
Exports totalled 40,379 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 24% from the 53,344 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 93,723 MT, compared to 273,046 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Turkey was the top destination during the month, taking 40,376 MT. was the second most important importer taking 3 MT, followed by Canada at 0 MT.
