Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Open On Easy Tone
PANAMA - Apr 20/21 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers by Germany posted massive declines, sinking relative to the previous month in February, recent data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports during the month totalled 1,299 metric tons (MT), down from 23,405 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 24,704, down 48% last year.
Recent trade statistics showed Turkey was biggest export origin, selling 420 MT for the month. Moldova was the second most important export origin shipping 412 MT, followed by China at 321 MT.
