China Demand Helps French Exports
PARIS - Apr 9/21 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France improved in February, helped by a moderate shipment to China, judging by data from Eurostat and Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 12,440 metric tons (MT), up from the 10,370 MT shipped the previous month but down 20% from the 15,590 MT shipped the same month last year.
Movement for the first eight months of the 2020-21 marketing year now total 109,485 MT, down 31% from the 157,965 MT shipped during the same time last year.
