Field Pea Exports From Canada Unchanged For Month
PANAMA - Apr 7/21 - SNS -- So far during this marketing year, with field pea shipments from Canada remained relative to the previous month in February, judging from recent data from Statistics Canada.
Total movement in the month reached 307,589 metric tons (MT), unchanged from the previous month's total of 307,768. So far exports have totalled 2,452,896 MT, up from 2,237,881 during the previous marketing year.
Current movement statistics reported China was top destination, receiving 233,207 MT for the month. Bangladesh was the second most important destination taking 50,000 MT, followed by United States at 4,595 MT.
