Canada's Yellow Pea Exports Unchanged For Month
PANAMA - Apr 7/21 - SNS -- Movement of yellow peas for Canada sat compared to the previous month in February, available data from Statistics Canada reveals.
Exports for the month totalled 253,764 metric tons (MT), versus 252,812 MT the prior month. This increased exports so far during the marketing year to 2,088,475, up 13% last year.
China was the most important buyer during the month, receiving 200,530 MT. Bangladesh was the second most important destination taking 50,000 MT, followed by Colombia at 882 MT.
