Turkey's Sunflower Seed Imports Record Weak Performance
PANAMA - Apr 7/21 - SNS -- Are starting the current calendar year amanagedan easier performance, with sunflower seed imports for Turkey fell relative to the previous month in January, judging from the most recent statistics from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
The updated statistics showed imports during the month totalled 102,239 metric tons (MT), down 30% from 146,917 the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, imports are up 19% from 85,848 MT.
Other was the largest origin, shipping 24,803 MT. Romania was the second most important exporter shipping 18,045 MT, followed by Ukraine at 17,269 MT.
