PANAMA - Apr 2/21 - SNS -- International field pea markets ended the week's trading on a slightly easier note against easing short term and new crop demand.
There was no immediate reaction in markets to the USDA seeding intentions report, which found farmers in the United States plan to reduce land in peas from just over one million acres to 896,600.
Though farmers in Montana intend to maintain area, only increasing it from 490,000 to 500,000 acres, their counterparts in North Dakota plan to slash seedings from 330,000 to 230,000 acres.
