Broadbean Exports From Australia Record Soft Opening

PANAMA - Apr 1/21 - SNS -- Exports of broadbeans from Australia were well down, plunging versus the previous month in February, available data from Australia Bureau of Statistics shows.

Exports reached 53,367 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 41% from the 91,214 MT shipped the previous month. Exports so far total 276,096 MT, versus 151,940 in the same period the previous marketing year.

Egypt was the largest importer for the month, buying 37,916 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important buyer buying 3,575 MT, followed by Saudi Arabia at 3,301 MT.
