Broadbean Exports From Australia Start With Firm Note

PANAMA - Mar 4/21 - SNS -- Australia's shipments of broadbeans in January jumped compared to the previous month, judging from data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Export sales during the first month of the marketing year totalled 91,933 metric tons (MT), up 24% from 73,924 MT the previous month. The data showed movement was up 151% from the 89,185 MT recorded in the same month last year.

Egypt was the number one importer for the month, buying 77,054 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important destination buying 3,387 MT, followed by Morocco at 3,166 MT.
