PANAMA - Mar 2/21 - SNS -- Russia's movement of chickpeas in December posted massive declines, sinking compared to the previous month, judging from data from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Movement totalled 7,472 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 66% from the 21,717 MT shipped the previous month. Exports so far total 315,503 MT, compared to 468,723 in the same period the last calendar year.
Pakistan was the largest destination during the month, receiving 2,674 MT. India was the second most important importer taking 1,541 MT, followed by Jordan at 1,263 MT.
