Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Reveal Strong Result
PANAMA - Feb 15/21 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year, with confection sunflower imports for Spain advanced compared to the previous month in December, according to official statistics from Eurostat.
Imports reached 13,071 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 7% from the 12,203 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 241,963 MT, compared to 242,612 in the same period the last calendar year.
France was the top exporter during the month, supplying 9,777 MT. China was the second most important shipper shipping 1,487 MT, followed by Argentina at 593 MT.
