At the same time the previous year, stocks totalled 2.41 million MT. On farm stocks sank from 2.229 to 1.683 million MT, while commercial inventories slipped from 181,000 to 165,000.
A solid increase in export movement between August and December was the primary reason for the change. Shipments to all destinations jumped from around 810,500 to just under 1.2 million MT, lifting inferred usage from 828,000 to 1.27 million MT.
