PANAMA - Feb 5/21 - SNS -- Exports of green lentils for Canada were slightly lower, falling versus the previous month in December, available data from Statistics Canada reports.
Total exports during the month amounted to 39,702 metric tons (MT), down 18% from the previous month's total of 48,202. So far exports have reached 227,544 MT, up from 158,481 in the same period the previous marketing year.
India was the largest importer, buying 7,740 MT. Morocco was the second most important importer taking 5,580 MT, followed by Turkey at 5,132 MT.
