PANAMA - Feb 4/21 - SNS -- At this point in the current marketing year continued a stronger performance, with broadbean exports for Australia posted significant gains, advancing relative to the previous month in December, judging from trade data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Export sales reached 76,413 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 33% from the 57,591 MT shipped the previous month. Shipments so far total 134,005 MT, versus 40,235 during the previous marketing year.
The latest movement statistics reported Egypt was most important buyer, taking 64,438 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important buyer buying 3,147 MT, followed by Saudi Arabia at 2,093 MT.
