Strong Tone In Mustard

PANAMA - Jan 22/21 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets maintained their strong tone through the third week of January.

While yellow mustard bids are unchanged since the beginning of December, prices offered Canadian farmers for oriental have advanced 18% while the highest posted bids for brown suggest values have jumped 22%.

This places grower bids for No 1 Canada yellow mustard at decile nine, which means they have only been higher 10% of the time since 2007. Bids for oriental are now at decile seven, while brown is sitting at decile eight.
