Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Maintain Weak Trend
PANAMA - Jan 15/21 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers in November fell sharply versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports reached 1,984 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 92% from the 25,119 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 217,150 MT, versus 281,395 in the same period the previous calendar year.
China was the number one shipper for the month, selling 612 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter selling 565 MT, followed by Turkey at 469 MT.
