PANAMA - Jan 8/21 - SNS -- Exports of yellow peas from Canada posted significant declines, slumping relative to the previous month in November, available data from Statistics Canada reveals.
Exports for the month reached 162,686 metric tons (MT), down from 370,589 MT the prior month. This increased exports so far during the marketing year to 1,341,059, up 14% last year.
For the month, China was the top importer, buying 130,349 MT. Bangladesh was the second most important destination buying 27,362 MT, followed by Indonesia at 957 MT.
