Sunflower Seed Exports From Russia Sustain Solid Tone
PANAMA - Dec 16/20 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year are maintaining a stronger trend, with sunflower seed exports from Russia rocketed compared to the previous month in October, according to the most recent data from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Movement reached 204,363 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 522% from the 32,852 MT shipped the previous month. Exports so far total 1,082,112 MT, compared to 399,497 in the same period the last calendar year.
The top buyer throughout the month was Bulgaria, receiving 89,789 MT. Turkey was the second most important consumer taking 47,600 MT, followed by Latvia at 19,575 MT.
