Spain's Confection Sunflower Imports Record Weak Performance
PANAMA - Dec 16/20 - SNS -- Spain's imports of confection sunflowers during October sank versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month reached 11,904 metric tons (MT), down 30% from the previous month's total of 17,004. So far imports have totalled 216,689 MT, up from 211,833 during the previous calendar year.
The most recent movement statistics showed France was biggest shipper, supplying 8,860 MT. China was the second most important export origin selling 1,469 MT, followed by United States at 510 MT.
