PANAMA - Dec 16/20 - SNS -- Romania's movement of oil-type sunflowers in October posted massive declines, sinking compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Export sales reached 12,906 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 97% from the 413,713 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 988,356 MT, compared to 1,575,380 during the previous calendar year.
Recent trade data revealed Morocco was top consumer, receiving 9,900 MT for the month. Turkey was the second most important destination buying 3,006 MT, followed by Switzerland at 0 MT.
