Birdseeds Ease in Light Trade
PANAMA - Nov 27/20 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets were generally easier in light trade during the past week, though values for most products remain in recent trading ranges.
The range of bids seen by Canadian canaryseed and millet seed growers in the United States was unchanged on the week, but average bid levels declined slightly, suggesting offers from growers are pushing slightly ahead of the short term needs of processors and exporters.
This was reflected in decline in inter-dealer markets for millet, though canaryseed was mostly unchanged on the week.
