Sunflower Seed Imports By Turkey Reveal Better Result
PANAMA - Nov 24/20 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year revealed a stronger result, with sunflower seed imports for Turkey leapt relative to the previous month in September, according to available data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Total imports for the month reached 12,774 metric tons (MT), up 113% from the previous month's total of 5,989. So far imports have amounted to 918,128 MT, down from 964,180 in the same period the last calendar year.
Current trade statistics showed Russia was largest export origin, selling 3,602 MT in the month. Yugoslavia was the second most important origin selling 3,476 MT, followed by China at 2,802 MT.
