Dry Beans Maintain Firm Footing

PANAMA - Nov 21/20 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets maintained their firm footing during the past week on relatively good ongoing demand from Mexico and domestic markets.

This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for the United States, which gained 0.8 points higher at 75.5 on continued strength in colored beans.

The global pulse price index declined 0.8 points on the week to close at 79.9, while the Canadian index lost 0.4 to finish at 79.3 points.
