Spain's Field Pea Imports Extend Soft Trend
PANAMA - Nov 16/20 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain fell versus the previous month in September, official trade data from Eurostat shows.
Imports reached 32,951 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 53% from the 70,297 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 132,195 MT, versus 166,737 during the last calendar year.
In the month, Ukraine was the most important shipper, selling 17,421 MT. Russia was the second most important shipper supplying 15,252 MT, followed by France at 206 MT.
