Modest Price Movement in Chickpeas
PANAMA - Nov 14/20 - SNS -- International chickpea markets were little changed in relatively light short term trading interest during the past week.
Kabuli chickpea markets remain relatively strong, with markets waiting for new crop offers from India and Mexico, which will help set the tone for prices throughout 2021.
Desi chickpea markets outside India were easier on the week, reflecting harvest progress in Australia and efforts by exporters to find price levels which attract buying interest from the Indian subcontinent.
