Birdseeds Mostly Hold Firm
PANAMA - Nov 14/20 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets ended the week's trading on a mixed note, though there was some evidence of short covering in some locations.
This is reflected in higher average bids for Canadian canaryseed by week's end and spikes in bids to millet seed growers in some locations in the United States.
Millet bids continue to sit at 22 cents per pound in most locations in Colorado and 20 cents in Nebraska. But the past week saw some processors reach up to 23 cents per pound.
